When my wife and I needed a survey on a property at very short notice before it went to auction ProEnergis stepped up to the mark. The instruction was complicated not just by the timescales involved but also by having to negotiate proper and sufficient access to the property. Once I gave them the go ahead they booked the actual survey in very quickly and I got the completed report within two days of the survey taking place covering everything I needed.

We got excellent service at every level from Julie and Rob. Firstly from Julie, who explained the options to me on the phone in the friendliest way. Not only were they able to book the survey for the following week, but we were given the option to pull out or to confirm the appointment the day before the visit - vital for us, because it was only on the day before the survey that we received the final mortgage offer.
Rob's survey is thorough, readable, pragmatic and cheap. I have seen the seller's Home Buyer's Report, from when they bought the property, and our survey is a lot better, and importantly, Rob picked up some important details that had been missed before.
Then, Rob was available for an illuminating phone conversation where we talked through the problems he had identified with the property, and likely routes we would want to follow.
I can't praise Proenergis enough really. Buying a house is stressful, and lots of pressure is applied from all sorts of directions. Proenergis were able to do an awful lot to alleviate that stress for us.

I had a few queries regarding the report and in error I asked Mr Green to give me a more detailed report. I should have sent the query to another Company. He walked the extra mile for me by giving me more detailed information on the house purchase which he did not have to do as it was not his report I was querying.. He also gave me more detailed information without extra monetary gain. The Company I should have contacted wanted more money for a more detailed report which I did not have to do as Mr Green was extremely helpful. The survey was carried out promptly and efficiently. Several areas of concern were highlighted during the inspection.
I am very pleased that all of these had already been noted by my builder and nothing else came to light.
This gives me confidence and reassurance that my builder is competent and conscientious.
It was suggested in the report that we may wish to reconfigure the layout of the property, in order to increase the number of bedrooms. This is something that we are giving serious thought to.
We will no doubt be speaking to Proenergis, with regard to more work when we are ready to buy more property,
